My background in journalism, sales, and marketing has shaped how I think about communication. Not just as writing, but as a way to influence and drive action.
I've learned that the right words can build trust that creates real engagement between brands and their audiences, and I've built that belief into a full marketing engine.
Marketing work, plus the products I build on my own time.
If you have the time, let's set up an interview. I promise I'm better in person than on a website.
In everything I do, I like to guide myself using four pillars. I’ve been doing this for a few years now, and I’ve really noticed a difference in myself and the people around me.
Sometimes doing the right thing works against my personal needs, but it all levels out. Building real trust with people, confidently wearing the integrity I’ve built, and being able to support the well-being of the people around me have always made me feel rewarded in the end.
This works in two ways. When I’m curious, I learn things better and faster. I ask more questions and dig deeper, which has helped me develop more skills. Curiosity is also a good framework for working with people. When I’m curious instead of judgmental, I avoid bad assumptions and work better with all kinds of people. I can thank Ted Lasso for this pillar.
Feedback is the quickest way to improve. I want to hear the bad things, and when I’m receptive, people are more willing to tell me what I’m doing wrong. I’m a big fan of diverse opinions, and hearing someone else’s perspective always leaves the door open for a new discovery.
I take work seriously, and myself less so. It helps me practice feeling secure and confident so I can stay composed. I believe this makes stress and unique challenges easier to handle, and it makes me someone people want to be around, even when things get overwhelming.
Outside of work hours, I love watching Boston sports. I am an avid baseball fan, and enjoy playing in an overly-tryhard dynasty fantasy baseball league. I golf, and love to watch and follow the PGA. I spend most of my time with my girlfriend, and while this is because we live together, I would like to think I would be doing it anyways even if we didn’t. She is my best friend.
